The power glam look is trending this season, making oversized blazers a wardrobe essential. They come in all different colors, patterns and fabrics. This outerwear can be found in pretty much every clothing store…or even your grandpa’s closet which is where I found mine. One jacket can be made into a ton of different outfits. This garment has been styled by many celebrities who have hopped on the trend and styled their blazers to fit their aesthetic.
I chose this beige blazer that is straight out of my grandpa’s closet to style 5 different ways. These looks can be taken as inspiration that you can personalize to your own style.
Crop & Biker shorts
Add A Belt
This is a super easy way to mimic a blazer dress without having to go out and buy one. You can take your favorite belt and make a fit perfect for everything from a brunch with the girls or a night out (six feet apart of course) 😉 Depending on the look you’re going for, anything from a chain belt to a fun statement belt can bring your blazer to a 10.
Spice up a white tank
Everyone has a simple white tank in their closet that they can use for this outfit. I paired my favorite Adika jeans and accessories like a bucket hat and shades to make a cute street look.
Break up a monochrome look
This one is my favorite look. I got this solid black top and pants from Boohoo! Pairing any same color top and bottom with a different color/ patterned blazer will add a pop to your outfit!
A corset with denim shorts
Along with blazers, corset tops have also taken over this season. They are a flattering and fun piece to style. I used a pair of dad shorts to dress down my top and the blazer to add an extra element and tie the outfit together.
